Nigerian musician and Grammy-nominated artist Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu widely known in African and world showbiz circles as Burna Boy has performed wholly his feature with ghanaian musician Ismail Mohammed Sherif, also known as Black Sherif. The Giant of Africa “ performed at the over 20,000 capacity Madison Square Gardens where he became the first West African to have sold out the venue.
Burna Boy has yet again proven to be one of the greatest musicians from Africa. The musician has become the first African to perform at 4 of the world’s top 5 busiest arenas.He has performed at 02, Maddison Square Garden, Manchester Arena and ziggo dome. He is the first African to perform at the BET Hip Hop Awards, Grammys, BRIT Awards & Billboard Music Awards.
Burna Boy in 2022 blessed buzzing ghanaian musician Black Sherif with a verse on his second sermon and the two, shot a video for the song which has since become a worldwide banger. Burna Boy after promised to promote and take the young Ghanaian musician to places. Since then, although the song is the property of Black Sherif, Burna Boy has constantly performed it at his shows singing it word by word.
The African superstar yet again honored the young Ghanaian act as he performed their song together at the Maddison Square Garden. The event that had a large population of white people patronizing African music showed the white community singing in twi the lyrics of the song.
Burna Boy before this show has announced he’s set to release a new album in June.
