Ghanaian dancehall act and musician Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale has called on the President of Ghana to focus and prioritize strategies to make the lives of theGhanaian youth better. He did so in a Snapchat post.
Shatta Wale who is currently out of the country and is known to arguably have the largest and most youthful fanbase in Ghana called on the president, Nana Akuffo Addo to focus more on the youth. According to the musician, although he feels the president is trying his best, the complaints received from these youthful fans are a thing of worry.
He wrote;” Mr.President please focus on the youth of Ghana more for me ok. They love you but it’s like they don’t see anything happening to them in their lives. The complaint is too much in my inbox. Forget politics and do this for them as a father for us pls”.
Shatta Wale has shared his views on many national issues and cemented his grounds amongst the Ghanaian youth. The dancehall act in his way is creating employment for Ghanaian youth through his ride-hailing service company called Shaxi. He mentioned that his request to the president is a humble one.
