A video surfacing on social media has shown a young man turned into a pig after he allegedly stole from a pig owner. The video was sighted on Instagram. The name of the victim however is unknown.
The incident is reported to have taken place in Malawi and shows the young man whose head is covered in cloth being taken away on a motorcycle. As the young man is taken away, one could see his mouth enlarging to look like one of a pig among other features.
A large number of people who looked surprised watched on amidst murmuring as the boy was supported to sit on the motorcycle.
In a local Malawian dialect, someone is heard narrating what is said to have happened. The video didn’t show the stolen pig, nor did it show a trace of the owner.
Instances like this which are normally alluded to as voodoo or black magic are prevalent in many African countries and owners of such stolen goods and items think it’s the best way to curb the menace.
