Ghanaian music producer John Dosunmu-Mensah popularly known as MOG Beatz has in a new video has revealed and addressed issues in his current relationship with ghanaian superstar and musician Shatta Wale.
The award-winning producer and currently VGMA producer of the year has over the years produced records for top ghanaian artists like Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, and Wendy Shay and is the signature of most ghanaian hits in the last five years. His production cuts across genres like Hiplife, Hip Hop, Highlife, Afropop, and a lot more others.
The chemistry between MOG and Shatta Wale on hit singles like Waiti and Opampam compelled Shatta Wale to recruit the young producer for most of the songs on his billboard charting Reign album.MOG on the album produced songs like Amount and Only One Man.
The success of the duo on records however was marred by the producer calling the dancehall act for not paying him what was due him. Shatta Wale who was however shocked by such allegations furnished the internet with screenshots of money he sent to the producer. The two continued to engage in a back and forth and since then have fallen out.
Speaking on the red carpet at the VGMA, MOG had revealed he has reconciled with Shatta Wale. He maintained that they now chat on WhatsApp and talk more. He went on to say he is even back to producing for the act as he’s on a few projects set to be released by the dancehall king.
