Reason Black Sherif Did Not Join Burna Boy At Madison Square Revealed.
It was highly anticipated to see Black Sherif mount the stage with Burna Boy when the Nigerian heavyweight brought Madison Square to a standstill.
This was because Burna Boy made a promise to tour the world with Blacko following the release of their remix, Second Sermon.
The Afrobeat sensation made an appearance on platforms in Nigeria with Blacko, however, it was not the case with his recent show in New York City.
Instead, Burna Boy performed Black Sheriff’s song word- to -word.
While others thought Burna did well, some also thought he did not fulfill his promise.
Ghanaian musician, Kwaw kese, had something to say.
He wrote on Twitter: Burna promised to take Blacko on tour but he’s on tour performing Blacko songs without him. @burnaboy you lied ???
What a joy it would’ve been if Blacko was on stage singing his part of the song. I do my song, you Dey take play show, nkwasiasem.
Burna Boy or any of his teams is yet to speak to the matter, however, something we are not expecting.
But, Ruthy, an outspoken entertainment pundit on Nhyira Fm, has disclosed Blacko’s court case prevented his appearance on stage.
It would be recalled Black Sheriff’s former manager dragged him to court recently following his contract with empire music.
