Ghanaian legendary footballer Asamoah Gyan in an interview with ace broadcaster and journalist Kwame Sefa Kayi has said that Shatta Wale is a very respectful human and not disrespectful and abusive as it’s believed in the public. The legendary footballer was talking on Peace FM morning show ‘kokrokoo’.
The Ghanaian international was quizzed on his relationship with the musician by the journalist. Asamoah Gyan answered and revealed that he and Shatta wale are classmates way back in senior high school. He narrated how their peers in class mocked the two once the question about career popped up.”Anytime I said in class I wanted to be a footballer,they mocked me.They wanted to be presidents and doctors,now who is making money “He said amidst laughter.
Talking about the notion created on Shatta Wale,he said that “Oh Shatta Wale is a very respectful guy.Sometimes people need to understand him that it’s showbiz and it part of the business.Someone needs to be the villain to make things work in our part of the world “
Asamoah Gyan ,who is arguably the ‘Shatta Wale’ of the Ghanaian football sector is set to launch his new book.The book is to tell his life and career story .His great achievement in the Ghanaian sporting is laudable and would be captured in his maiden book.
