A good Samaritan, a kind-hearted and honorable man, etc are the accolades being sung at a taxi driver after a video surfaced online showing that he has returned an amount of eight thousand Ghana cedis to the owner.
According to sources, the taxi driver who is a young man picked this woman up in his taxi and dropped her off at her house on Friday evening. The woman while dropping off also forgot the money and the driver unknowingly drove off.
However, the driver recognized the woman had left such a huge sum of money in his backseat and willingly returned to the woman’s house to return the money.
The woman is a fish seller at Mallam Atta Market in Accra and was seen in the video hugging the driver amidst tears full of gratitude and relief. She narrates to the driver that she hasn’t slept since she realized what was at stake and thanked him heavily for the favor done him.
Looking at the tears and emotions displayed by the woman one can only conclude the eight thousand cedis is capital for her business without which her business would have collapsed. Many people around helped the woman to thank the driver and asked for God’s blessing for him.
