Ghanaians vehemently opposed the passing of E-levy from the day it was introduced by this government through the finance minister, Ofori Atta. A lot believe that the E levy will collapse electronic transfer and the cashless system introduced by the NPP.
The minority in parliament used all their powers to stop the passing of the E-levy, unfortunately, they couldn’t stop the passing of the E-levy. The E-levy was enforced on 1st May 2022.
Ghanaians continue to bemoan the E-levy. People are not happy about the E-levy. Already, prices of goods and services have skyrocketed which has made the living condition of ordinary Ghanaians very hard.
One notable person who always speaks to authority is a Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson. Very bold to speak her mind concerning every bad thing going on in the country. Once again, “the Yaa Asantewaa” is not happy with the administration of Nana Addo
According to her, the president is only good at speaking big English. And he lured Ghanaians with his big English. His administration is a mess because the system is not working under him.
“You Lured Ghanaians with your big big English @NAkoffuAddo” she tweeted
You lured Ghanaians with your BIG BIG english @NAkufoAddo
